The Alpina Startimer Pilot (AL-525KBG4SH6) 1920s Heritage Limited Edition is a Swiss automatic timepiece featuring a distinctive green dial with high legibility design inspired by vintage aviation instruments from the 1920s. This limited edition watch is restricted to 1,883 pieces worldwide, commemorating Alpina's founding year.
The 44mm round stainless steel case houses a Swiss AL-525 automatic movement with hour, minute, second, and date complications. The watch features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal dial window for optimal clarity and an open heart caseback that displays the automatic movement. At 12 o'clock and at the tip of the seconds hand, you'll find Alpina's symbolic triangle representing the Alpine peaks.
The watch includes several heritage design elements such as an oversized "onion" crown designed for optimal grip even with gloves, a 24-hour dial perfect for pilots, and a push-button at 4 o'clock. The brown leather strap with buckle clasp provides a classic aviation aesthetic. Case thickness measures 11.55mm with a 20mm band width. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
